Famous Hispanic in History

My Spanish American report will be on Vernon Louis Gomez.

Lefty Gomez played on the New York Yankees for 13 years (http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/gomezle01.shtml). His nickname was "Lefty" as he pitched left handed. He was inducted into the hall of fame for his amazing pitch streak and helping lead the Yankees to set a world series record. (http://baseballhall.org/hof/gomez-lefty)
